Grab the HyperX CloudX headset at an even more affordable price today

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. That’s the HyperX CloudX wired headset in a nutshell. This headset has been around for several years now, and it strikes a fantastic balance between price and quality. Today you can get the headset for just $49.99 at Target or GameStop. That’s a $10 discount off its regular price when compared to other retailers like Best Buy. While this isn’t quite as low as the deal we saw over Black Friday when it dropped to $40, it’s still a decent chunk of change adding value to an already valuable device.

A headset that has continued to stand the test of time. Great build quality, great audio quality, and designed to work with your Xbox, whether current or previous generation.

We first reviewed the CloudX back in 2018 and gave it 4 out of 5 stars, but even today it continues to be one of our favorite accessories for the Xbox Series X. In fact, we call it the best affordable headset, which just makes this deal even more relevant if affordability is what you’re after.

The CloudX is a headset built to last thanks to a sturdy construction and a durable aluminum frame. It also has an adjustable and flexible headband that helps it survive accidental drops and frustration-filled rage quits. Then again, maybe the memory foam ear cushions will provide enough stress-reducing long-term comfort that you won’t rage as much in the first place. We can dream, can’t we?

You also get a detachable microphone that has built-in noise cancelling to drown out the sounds from the video game you’re playing so your teammates can still hear you. Being detachable makes it great for carrying around with you should you want to travel with it. You’ll also get some in-line audio controls for easy adjustments while you’re playing.

It’s covered by a two-year warranty. Since the headset is officially licensed for Xbox, it definitely works with the Xbox One, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X.
