Disney Plus has finally launched to the masses and seems to be a success. However, new technical problems are constantly reported by subscribers. When buffering issues invade your Disney, Pixar, Marvel movies, or high-profile shows like The Simpsons, things are anything but pleasant.

That’s expected from any computerized system; it’s not uncommon to see playback problems like buffering, so let us help you out. Our recommendation is to check Netflix if you have a subscription, any other similar streaming platform or simply load up YouTube.

What can I do if Disney Plus keeps buffering / freezing ?

1. Uninstall and reinstall Disney Plus

  • 25.0 Mbps for 4K UHD

Immediately run a speed test on your device and compare results with the above recommendations.

4. Power cycle your devices

Performing a power cycle remains among the first steps for troubleshooting a buffering issue. This standard diagnostic procedure involves simply turning off your device.

Do the same for the modem and router, if applicable. Wait a few minutes, then power them back up.

With any luck, Disney Plus should stop buffering. Keep in mind that after resetting an Internet device, it may take a minute or two to reconnect.

5. Check for Disney Plus/app updates
