Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077 developer donates $240,000 to help Ukraine

CD PROJEKT RED, the developers behind the hit The Witcher video game franchise and Cyberpunk 2077, announced over the weekend that they would be donating 1 million PLN (around 240,000 USD) to Polska Akcja Humanitarna.

Polska Akcja Humanitarna (or PAH) is a Poland-based humanitarian organization which is currently collecting donations to provide direct aid for those currently in Ukraine who are in need of support due to Russia’s ongoing attack.

“The recent invasion on Ukraine, our friends and neighbours, left us shocked and outraged,” a post on CD PROJEKT RED’s official Twitter account reads. “In solidarity with all victims of this act of aggression, the CD PROJEKT Group has decided to support humanitarian aid efforts by donating 1 million PLN to the @PAH_org. We cannot remain indifferent in the face of such injustice and we ask everybody to join in and help in any way you can. Together we can make a huge difference!”

Those who wish to donate to PAH can do so via the official PAH website.

Donations are also currently being accepted by the Ukrainian Army via bank transfer and cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum.
