Windows 11 Insider Beta Channel builds 22621.2115 and 22631.2115 come with changes, fixes

It’s Wednesday, and there’s a new Windows 11 Insider set of builds for the Beta Channel. Not much new, but build 22631.2115 (new features rolling out) does come with one significant improvement to Narrator for users of Traditional Chinese:

  • Narrator users who interact with Traditional Chinese characters are now able to do this with confidence while using Narrator and the IME candidate window in Windows. This was accomplished by creating a Traditional Chinese dictionary for detail reading. Narrator now consumes the dictionary to disambiguate each Traditional Chinese word. Users should be aware that Narrator detailed reading is only supported for the Taiwan language pack. The Hong-Kong language pack is not supported with Narrator.

Builds 22631.2115 and 22621.2115 (new features off by default) come with a long list of fixes for both versions of this new Beta Channel build. They include an update to the Handwriting Software Input Panel that now meet level 3 requirements, a fix for inconsistent reporting of the CPU L2 cache, for printer drivers unload unexpectedly, for missing display and audio devices after a system restores from sleep, an update to make Windows Autopilot policy more resilient, and many more. Be sure to check out the blog post for all the details.
