Wasteland 3 has officially crossed over 2 million players

If you’re a fan of RPGs with intertwining systems and a powerful branching narrative, you’ve probably heard of Wasteland 3. The critically acclaimed title from inXile Entertainment set the bar for third-person RPGs with its mesmerizing post-apocalyptic world and beautifully polished RPG gameplay. Generally beloved by the RPG community, Wasteland 3 has rightfully accrued a sizeable player base. On Tuesday, inXile took to Twitter to announce that Wasteland 3 has crossed a brand-new milestone — over 2 million people have played!

Crossing 2 million players is an impressive enough statistic for any game, but it’s even more so for a third-person RPG, a genre that typically doesn’t capture the mainstream audience. If you haven’t already played Wasteland 3, which is undoubtedly one of the best Xbox games, the genre-defining title is available now for Xbox, PlayStation, and PC platforms. Wasteland 3 was packed to the brim with content from the moment it launched, by inXile has since released two DLC expansions to add additional story content and features. The Battle of Steeltown and Cult of the Holy Detonation are both available alongside Wasteland 3, and are included in the Colorado Collection.
