1. Try incognito mode in Google Chrome

1. Hit the Windows key, type Chrome, then open the first result.
2. Use the following hotkey to open a new incognito window: Ctrl + Shift + N.

2. Clear browsing data

1. Press on the Windows key, type Chrome, and click on the first result.
2. Use the following keyboard shortcut to open the Clear browsing data window: Ctrl + Shift + Delete.
3. In the Time range section, drop down the menu, and select All Time.
4. Checkmark all the boxes.
5. Click on Clear data.

5. Exit Command Prompt.

4. Disable all extensions and plugins

1. Hit the Windows key, type Chrome, then open the browser.
2. From the upper-right corner, click on the 3-dots menu.
3. Hover the mouse over More tools, then navigate to Extensions.
4. In order to disable them, turn the shown button on Off.

Third-party extensions and plugins installed in your browser include firewall, antivirus, accountability tools, or ad-block services. These might block certain activities, so you might want to disable them.

5. Allow Flash player and Java script

1. Type chrome://settings/content and press Enter
2. Locate JavaScript and Flash in the list of Content settings
3. Click on JavaScript and choose Allowed by clicking the switch button
4. Click on Flash to open Flash Player settings.
5. Change Block sites from running Flash to Ask first.
6. Click Add in front of Allow and add https://twitch.tv.
7. Restart your browser.

6. Update your browser

1. Hit the Windows key, type Chrome, then open the browser.
2. From the upper-right corner of the window, click on the 3-dots menu.
3. Hover the mouse over Help, then click on About Google Chrome.
4. Wait for Chrome to update.
5. Restart your browser.

You can check the status of your Chrome browser by revisiting the About Google Chrome page and looking for the Google Chrome is up to date message on the left side of the page.

7. Reset Chrome settings to default

1. Press on the Windows key, type Chrome, and click on the first result.
2. From the top-right corner of Chrome’s window, click on the 3-dots icon.
3. Expand Advanced, then click on Reset and clean up.
4. Under the section Reset and clean up, click Restore settings to their original defaults.
5. Confirm by clicking Reset settings.

8. Reinstall Google Chrome

1. Use the following keyboard shortcut to open Windows Search Box: Windows + S.
2. Type Control Panel, then click on the first result.
3. Under the Programs section, select Uninstall a program.
4. Click on Google Chrome, then choose to Uninstall it.
5. Open Control Panel again.
6. Look at the top-right corner, and in the search box type Folder Options, then click on File Explorer Options.
7. Click on the View tab, then check Show hidden files, folders, and drives, and uncheck Hide protected operating system file.
8. Click on Apply, then on OK to save the changes.
9. Delete C:Program FilesGoogleChrome.
10. Delete C:Users[Your_User_Name]AppDataLocalGoogle.
11. Go to the Chrome website.
12. Click on Download Chrome.
13. Follow the on-screen instructions to reinstall the browser.

9. Check hardware acceleration settings

1. Hit the Windows key, type Chrome, then open the first result.
2. In the address bar type chrome://settings/system, then press on Enter.
3. Disable Use hardware acceleration when available (make sure this is set to off).
4. Relaunch your browser

10. Do not use VPN or Proxy server

Sometimes if you are using some proxy server or VPN to access Twitch, it might be possible to see the black screen on Twitch while streaming. If this is the case, we recommend you to access Twitch without proxy or VPN.
