The Halo franchise has expanded across almost every medium imaginable in its decades-long existence, and it’s coming to another platform later this year as a live-action sci-fi TV show. The upcoming Halo TV series tells an alternative story surrounding the Master Chief and Cortana, and has garnered a decent level of excitement from Halo fans in the last few months.

Ahead of the Season 1 release, 343 Industries has already confirmed that Season 2 of the Halo TV series is coming. It was already known that several seasons of the Halo TV series are planned, but Season 2 is now absolutely in the works with David Wiener, best known for his work on Brave New World and Fear the Walking Dead, at the helm as executive producer.

Renewing the show for a second chapter before the first has landed hopefully hints at confidence in the Halo TV series, which aims to capture new and old fans alike with a new tale in the legendary Halo universe. In case you missed it, a new trailer for the Halo TV series was recently released, showing off many elements of the show including Master Chief, Cortana, Covenant Elites, and much more.

The Halo TV series will officially debut on Mar. 24, 2022 through Paramount+, meaning fans only have a few more weeks to wait before it arrives in full.
