The first trailer for the Halo TV series is here

The first proper trailer for the upcoming live-action Halo TV series finally debuted today and, while just around a minute in length, offers a pretty good look at the style of the series and the scale of some of the sets and sequences.

The Halo TV series, officially referred to as Halo The Series in the above video’s title, is set to debut in 2022 and will be exclusive to the Paramount+ streaming service. The show stars Pablo Schreiber as Master Chief, Natascha McElhone as Dr. Halsey, Jen Taylor as Cortana, and Bokeem Woodbine as Soren-066.

While the series is based on Xbox’s popular Halo video game franchise, its storyline will be completely separate from those told in the games in much the same way that Netflix’s The Witcher has its own continuity that’s not connected to the Witcher games and books.
