94% is a fun little quiz game where you must guess 94% of the answers to any given question. For instance, it’ll give you a scenario. You must find 94% of the answers that fit that scenario. For instance, you’ll have to guess 94% of things that people do when they wake up in the morning. It’s kind of like Family Feud. It contains hundreds of questions, plenty of levels, and the developers seem to be updating the game fairly frequently with new content. It’s not perfect, but it’s fun. It’s one of the better quiz games.

HQ Trivia

Price: Free

HQ Trivia is one of the most popular quiz games from 2018. It features a game show style unlike anything else on this list. That includes a real host that asks you questions live at certain times of the day. Those who answer correctly proceed while those who answer incorrectly are eliminated. The people left at the end split real, actual prize money. You won’t be able to quit your job to play HQ Trivia, but winning feels pretty good when it pays for a meal or two. Games take place every day at 9PM EST as well as weekdays at 3PM EST, so you have 12 opportunities per week to play. It’s also completely free with no in-app purchases. We named this game one of the best of 2018, a rare achievement for a quiz game.

Logo Game

Price: Free (with ads)

Logo Game is one of the few free quiz games available on Android. This one is a simple guessing game where you see a logo and then you have to guess the brand. It includes over 2285 globally recognized brands, 73 levels, and the difficulty increases the longer you play. It also comes with Google Play Games services, including achievements and leaderboards. It’s surprisingly large for a completely free game. However, you do have ads to contend with so it kind of averages out the experience. There are a bunch of games like these on Google Play and they definitely aren’t complicated by any stretch. People do seem to really enjoy them, though.

Millionaire Trivia and Jeopardy World

Price: Free to play

Millionaire Trivia and Jeopardy World are the official mobile titles of their respective properties. Millionaire Trivia lets you play like the classic game with lifelines, multiple choice questions, and even the game graphics look like the show. Jeopardy World is much less difficult than the TV version. All questions become multiple choice questions, but the game otherwise keeps to its source material. Both of these games are fun if you enjoy either TV game show. However, in terms of top ten, they’re closer to ten than they are to number one. There are some freemium mechanics we don’t quite enjoy and Millionaire in particular has a small problem with cheating. The actual trivia portion of both games is quite good, though.

Popcorn Trivia

Price: Free to play

PopcornTrivia - best quiz apps for android

PopcornTrivia isn’t the most complex trivia game on mobile. However, people really seem to like a lot. It’s a trivia game for movie and film buffs. It boasts questions about a metric ton of movies across many genres by people who label themselves as cinephiles. The developers also adds new movies every week. You go into a quiz about a movie, answer questions about it, and see if you have as much knowledge about a film as you think you do. The graphics are quite simple, but much like Quizoid, it kind of doesn’t matter because the rest of the game is just that fun. Anyone who likes movies should try this.

Quizoid

Price: Free / $3.99

Quizoid is an older, but still popular quiz game. It features over 7,000 trivia questions across over a dozen categories. The game also features three game modes (classic, 20 question mode, and arcade mode), some hint mechanics, and it fully supports offline play. The game’s UI and graphics are a little basic and they won’t impress anybody. However, the game is otherwise fantastic. There is a premium version for $3.99. For that price, you get an extra 3,000 questions, two more game modes, and extra hint mechanics. This is a good, stable, solid quiz game without a lot of compromises or problems. We really do enjoy the offline support as well. Not a lot of popular quiz games have that.

QuizUp

Price: Free to play

Quizup is one of the most popular quiz games out there. The game features online PvP. Players score more points by answering questions faster than the other player. The winner is the player who scores the most points. There are a ton of categories and the number consistently expands. There are also special categories. They usually come out around big events like holidays, movie releases, etc. It’s a bit more social than most trivia games. That could be good or bad depending on what you’re looking for. It’s above average, but its advertising can get quite annoying from time to time.

QuizzLand

Price: Free / Up to $9.99

This one boasts a simple, classic quiz game experience. It asks you a question, you get four choices as an answer, and you keep going until you see how well you do. It features a bunch of questions across a variety of topics. The game also comes with some hint mechanics as well as some other little mini-games. We’re a little concerned because the game’s UI is similar to QuizUp, but it otherwise worked quite well in our testing. There is a freemium element to this along with some advertising. However, the questions are engaging and this one has a lot of potential. We hope to see it improve the next time we swing back to update this article.

Trivia 360

Price: Free / $3.99

Trivia 360 is one of the newer quiz games. It’s looks and feels like a traditional style trivia game. It comes with thousands of questions, true or false questions, riddles, and various categories. There are also leaderboards to see how well you’re doing. Aside from that, it’s a relatively simple trivia game. The interface is colorful, but easy to learn. About the only downsides are that the landmark questions are generally US based. Also, there are quite a few ads and no way to get rid of them. Other than that, it’s not bad. The premium version is also free if you use Google Play Pass.

Trivia Crack 2

Price: Free to play / $9.99 per 3 months

The first Trivia Crack was one of the most successful mobile games of the last five years. Trivia Crack 2 is the next game in the franchise. It features a lot of the same elements as the first one. That includes a metric boatload of questions, online PvP, and you can submit your own questions just like the first game. This second iteration adds some extra social and gameplay elements as well. The advertising is not enjoyable in the slightest and we’re not big fans of its subscription pricing to remove them. The game should even out over time and, aside from the ads, it’s actually a solid trivia game with good social elements. Etermax also has Trivia Crack Adventure (Google Play). It’s a level-based game with trivia elements in case you want to try something different.
