Skiing App Slopes Updated With Live Recording Maps and More

The ski tracking app has just been updated with four new major features.

First up, the app now supports live Location Sharing so you can see where friends are and how the find them. No one else can see your location unless they are your friend in the app and recording at the same resort. The feature can also be turned off at any time.

You can also send a private link with a web-based view to friends and family not skiing.

The app also offers upgraded digital winter maps of resorts with information like names and difficulty. Twenty popular resorts are currently supported to more tho come in the future.

The recording experience on the iPhone is also sporting a new look with full-screen love maps and more.

Finally, runs recorded on the Apple Watch version of the app will be synced back to the iPhone throughout the day for easy viewing.

Slopes is a free download on the App Store and for the iPhone and all iPad models.

The free version offers unlimited recording, daily summary of that’s, resort conditions and trail maps, and leaderboards with friends.

A premium version is available for $24.99 per year. That brings features including run-by-run stats, offline trail maps, virtual 3D mountains and more. You can also purchase a family plan for $39.99 to use the premium features with up to five additional family members.
