There are reports that several major internet services, including the Amazon Web Services, Twitch, PlayStation Network, and several others are experiencing difficulties at the moment.

Some of the affected services are powered by Amazon technology, although there is no apparent connection between their issues and those of the cloud computing service.

Users of Microsoft’s Xbox Live gaming platform also reported experiencing some issues according to reports on Downdetector, but the company has not yet made a statement about possible causes.

If the above tweet is anything to go by, then this is a major setback affecting a huge number. Let’s hope that they come to a time resolution.
