To commemorate the Chinese New Year, Apple has released a new short film in its “Shot on iPhone” series called “The Comeback.”
The movie tells the tale of a young man returning home from a film shoot after an injury. He returns home and, with his father, sets out to shoot a sci-fi film with his friends and family and make that comeback.
The film, which clocks in at 23 minutes, was shot on the iPhone 13 Pro. In 2021, Apple released a 12-minute video shot on the iPhone 12 Pro Max that put a modern spin on the classic Chinese legend of the monster Nian.
The Chinese New Year starts on Tuesday, February 1, 2022. To celebrate, Apple has also released with special edition AirTag & Beats Studio Buds with Year of the Tiger imagery.
