Microsoft Word will let users sync their favorite fonts across platforms

A refreshed font picker is on the way for the Office suite of apps, launching later this month in Microsoft Word. It will add the ability to sync fonts across platforms in order to make font management more seamless. It’s possible to select favourite fonts, as well as be alerted to missing, embedded, and used fonts.

Microsoft Authenticator app gets new logo and enterprise features

The Microsoft Authenticator app has gained a new logo this week, as well as features designed for enterprise usage. The logo is simply a reversal of the colour palette, whilst it will become possible to manage Azure AD school accounts.

Microsoft to hold “Reimagine” education event on November 9, promises “innovative technology”

Microsoft is set to hold an education event on November 9, in which it has promised to show “innovative technology” for education. The event will last for 45 minutes and is designed to provide answers to the gaps that have been widened as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

GitHub gets new CEO as Nat Friedman pursues startup future

Chief Product Officer of GitHub, Thomas Dohmke, is being promoted to CEO, after Nat Firedman has stepped down from the role to pursue a career in a startup.
