Leaked Galaxy S22 promo video & marketing images reveal ‘key features’ of the series
The Samsung Galaxy S22 series is almost here. Samsung is set to announce the S22 series on February 9, 2022, at 10 AM ET. Ahead of the series’ official announcement, a lot of information has already leaked. The latest Samsung Galaxy S22 leak from popular tipster Evan Blass (via MySmartPrice) has shown off the official marketing images and promo video of the device.
It seems that these marketing images will be used on the Samsung Italy website as they’re in, well, Italian Language. Nonetheless, thanks to the marketing images, key features, specifications, and other details of the Samsung Galaxy S22, S22 Plus, and S22 Ultra have leaked online.
The leak has revealed that the Samsung Galaxy S22 will feature a 6.1-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It’ll have a 50MP primary camera sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 10MP Telephoto sensor. The leak has also confirmed the presence of camera features like 8K video recording and Super HDR.
Samsung’s marketing images clearly specify that the phone will be powered by the 4nm node process-based Exynos 2200 (which confirms the leak we reported yesterday). Unlike the S22 Ultra 45W fast charging, the images also show that S22 will feature only 25W fast charging.
The S22+ will have a bigger 6.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED display. The big 6.6-inch display will have an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The camera and processor specs remain the same as the vanilla S22 though improvements come in the battery department. The S22+ will feature 45W fast charging as per the marketing images and it’ll take 60 minutes to charge from 0% to 100%. The box of Galaxy S22+ will contain a USB-C-to-USB-C cable and a SIM ejector along with the phone, as per the marketing material shared.
Marketing images confirm that the S22 Ultra will come with an S Pen. It’ll sport a 6.8-inch 2X Dynamic AMOLED display with QHD+ resolution and support for up to a 120Hz refresh rate. The S22 Ultra will also come with 1750 nits bright display with HDR10+ certification. Just like the S22+, S22 Ultra will also support 45W fast charging.
On the back, the S22 Ultra will come with a quad-camera setup. This setup will include a 108MP primary SuperClear Lens with an f/1.8 aperture, a 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide lens, and two 10MP telephoto sensors with 3x and 10x optical zoom. On the front, there’ll be a 40MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture.
