Jared Leto warns WeWork founder Adam Neumann not to watch Apple TV+ show about his company

Upcoming Apple TV+ show WeCrashed tells the story of Adam Neumann and the company he founded, WeWork. According to reports, star Jared Leto has told Neumann not to watch it.

Speaking at The New York Times DealBook Online Summit, Deadline reports that Leto told him that he shouldn’t watch the show, although he didn’t go into detail as to why. However, with WeCrashed telling a story that sees WeWork implode it’s fair to say its co-founder doesn’t come across too well. It’s likely Leto is trying to save Neumann’s blushes.

Unsurprisingly, Neumann says that the show isn’t entirely truthful in its portrayl of him.

“What happened in the world that we can take a person, look exactly like them, put on prosthetics, put their wife and kids in a show and then do a show on a … single-sided narrative that I am telling you is not actually true in a lot of things. And actually do a show that profits from it? I think back in the day you were not allowed to do this. And I know public figures, you can do. But you use their face, use their name and tell a false story?”

Here’s how Apple TV+ describes the show:

“WeCrashed” will follow the greed-filled rise and inevitable fall of WeWork, one of the world’s most valuable startups, and the narcissists whose chaotic love made it all possible.

We still don’t have an air date for WeCrashed but you can bet it’s going to be a must-watch!
