Is the Forza Horizon 5 Premium Add-Ons Bundle DLC worth it?

Forza Horizon 5 includes mountains of content by itself, but Playground Games is letting players expand their experience even further with a series of optional DLC add-ons and expansions. Depending on the edition of Forza Horizon 5 you buy, you may get one or more of these DLCs included in your purchase. For those who want to enhance their FH5 experience without shelling out for a more expensive edition, or are playing through a different method, there are plenty of ways to get more out of Forza Horizon 5.

The Forza Horizon 5 Premium Add-Ons Bundle includes almost every optional DLC add-on for considerably less than it’d cost to purchase those DLCs individually. Effectively, this amounts to buying Forza Horizon 5 Premium Edition (the most expensive FH5 tier) without the base game included. The value of the Premium Add-Ons Bundle changes depending on how you play or buy Forza Horizon 5.

If you’re purchasing the Standard or Deluxe Editions of FH5 digitally through the Microsoft Store or Steam, and you’re considering the Premium Add-Ons Bundle, you’re much better off simply buying the Premium Edition. This saves you money and gives you everything in one simple package.

On the other hand, those playing Forza Horizon 5 through Xbox Game Pass or a physical copy of the game (which only comes as the Standard Edition), could gain a lot from the Premium Add-Ons Bundle. This is a great way to augment your physical disc or Xbox Game Pass subscription with all the optional DLC. Even better, Xbox Game Pass subscribers get an automatic 10% discount on the Premium Add-Ons Bundle, saving you an extra $5. Ultimately, this is the main reason the Premium Add-Ons Bundle DLC exists.

If you picked up the Standard Edition of Forza Horizon 5 and are on the fence about purchasing additional DLC, there’s a chance the Premium Add-Ons Bundle will eventually go on sale, making it an easier pill to swallow. Of course, you can always pick up the individual DLCs you’re interested in and purchase them separately (just keep in mind this will end up costing much more if you buy them all).
