Improve Your Vocabulary With the Latest Update to the Dictionary App LookUp

A big addition in version 8 is the new LookUp Learn feature to help you build your vocabulary. The feature uses a scientifically-proven method to improve your vocabulary by organizing leearing sessions in a timely manner.

Just select the new Learn tab and choose a collection. As you learn new words, a progress bar will show you how much you’ve progressed.

Anyone with an iPad can annotate words in the app with the new Quick Notes feature in iPadOS 15 using an Apple Pencil.

Another improvement is a redesigned widget collection to see more relevant information in larger sizes on your home screen.

The app also supports the always-on screen feature in watchOS 8. Anyone with an Apple Watch Series 5 or later can see the word of the day on your watch screen even when your wrist is down.

Lookup is a $9.99 download on the App Store and for the iPhone and all iPad models. Along with the companion Apple Watch app, it’s also available on the Mac.
