The feature works by sending similar data across two different Wi-Fi 6 bands.

1. You will need a Qualcomm FastConnect 6900 Wi-Fi chip

The Wi-Fi Dual Station will only work and make its way to Windows 11 gaming PCs because it supports Wi-Fi 6 , the fastest available Wi-Fi speeds in the industry. This will allow the devices to use the 6 GHz frequency as other frequencies will be occupied by other devices. The Wi-Fi 6 expands the Wi-Fi capacity and doubles the pathway for sending and receiving data.

2. You will need a Windows 11 supported device

The integration between game server, game, router and device needs to support Wi-Fi Dual Station which at present is only Windows 11 supported devices. The Wi-Fi Dual Station utilizes your networks 2.4 and 5GHz bands to provide ethernet-like capabilities on a wireless connection to improve gaming performance.
