Here are some of the useful changes you can expect to find on Excel on the Web this month

Excel on the web allows users to access the number crunching application from anywhere, without having it installed. Microsoft issues regular updates to the web version, bringing it closer to a full desktop application, with only a web browser needed to access it.

As such, Microsoft is always sending updates to ensure that the application is up to date.  In an expected update set to be released sometime this month, according to the Microsoft 365 roadmap, Microsoft is set to introduce a new feature dubbed the Argument Assistance card UI. The feature will help minimize and streamline lookups and errors, as it provides a description of the formula, associated arguments accompanied with examples for easy implementation.

Microsoft is including this feature in the update to help users get assistance in the app rather than having to source the information elsewhere. It is worth noting that you will have control over this feature, in that you can choose to implement it or stick to the tooltip implementation.

The update will also allow you to minimize The Excel formula bar manually based on your preference. This feature is already available for use in the desktop version of the app.
