And his latest app, HomeLog for HomeKit, is designed to help you track and find issues with any device. As you might have guessed by the name, the app can log changes in any HomeKit device including when it’s unreachable.
To help manage a number of devices, you can filter by home, room, or service type. You can also search for specific event changes.
It’s also possible to mark devices, services, or scenes as important to easily access then information in the app.
You can also hide any noisy events from your logs as needed.
HomeLog for HomeKit is for the iPhone and all iPad models. It’s a $4.99 download. It’s also available on the Mac.
Just to note, the iOS version of the app needs to be actively open and running.
On the Mac, the app can log continuously if the helper is enabled to run in the background.
