Rumors are circulating that Redfall, the highly anticipated first-person shooter from Bethesda and Arkane Studios (of Dishonored fame), will see a slight delay of its release next year. To be clear, the game has never had an official release date, excluding the possibility of an official delay.
Back in May of this year Bethesda announced that the launches of both Redfall and Starfield were being delayed until the first half of 2023. Many had been speculating that Redfall could arrive in March. If the current rumors prove accurate, that release target has been pushed back by six weeks to May 2023. The source of this speculation is a tweet from industry inside Okami Games, as reported by App Trigger. Again, it’s worth repeating that all of this is just speculation as far as we know until Bethesda comes out with an official release date.

Redfall is an open-world co-op shooter that blends single-player and multiplayer options. One of 2023’s most anticipated Xbox games alongside Forza Motorsport and Starfield, Redfall is set in the titular Massachusetts town in which a legion of vampires have blocked out the sun and secluded the town from the outer world.
The game has drawn comparisons to Valve’s classic co-op shooter/survival horror game Left 4 Dead. Redfall will be a day one Xbox Game Pass release whenever it does finally launch.
