Noir – Dark Mode for Safari
Jeffrey Kuiken
A Dark Turn
The new Safari extension Noir automatically brings a dark mode to every site you visit. It creates the custom dark style for each site visited based on the colors on the page. The extension works automatically.
Amplosion
Christian Selig
Say Goodbye to AMP
From Christian Selig, the developer of the popular third-party Reddit client Apollo, the extension is designed to make AMP pages a thing of the past. Anyone who does a lot of reading is probably aware of the Google-created web format designed to make pages load faster when searching sites on the search engine. But many times that’s not the case as you will see sites that look odd or load incorrectly. You can also be tracked via AMP links. The new extension automatically redirects an AMP link to the normal site. There’s nothing else you need to do after turning on the extension.
Interval Running
Ben Noland
Make Interval Runs Easy
The new app Runervals makes full use of both the Apple Watch and iPhone to help you improve your fitness. You probably know that running intervals are a popular way train and improve conditioning, speed, and technique. After a high-intensity run, you’ll rest for a certain amount of time and then repeat. And Runervals makes that training easy. It uses the device’s accelerometer and GPS data to automatically detect when you are running and resting. Each interval is tracked so that you can see the data along with an overall look at the workout.
Memo – Rewrite History
Shihab Mehboob
A New Way to Take Notes
Memo is a new note-taking app with a unique twist. Any additions and deletions are stored in a history timeline. You can easily travel forwards and backwards in time through the note. The app will show you text differences between timestamps. To quickly find a specific part of the note, you can add a bookmark at a specific timestamp
