Stardock Announces Next Big Update for Start11

The folks at Stardock have announced another big update for Start11. Coming on October 7, the next update will bring additions like the ability to adjust the taskbar size, re-order quick access shortcut lists, and more. The update should let you customize Windows 11 to make it more personal, in ways that Microsoft won’t let you do it nativley.

One of the big features coming in this update lets you move the taskbar to the top of the desktop in Windows 11, a feature that’s not available in the settings app. In addition, some of the other features include some new Start Menu layouts to choose from, restored context menus, and integration with Stardock’s Fences program. You can see a preview of what it looks like below.

The Start11 update will release on October 7th. The beta is currently available for $4.99, with an upgrade option for users of Start8 and Start10. We previously had a chat with Stardock about Start11, and the future of the app.
