Xbox Series X|S outsells the PS5 in Japan for the second time this year

For the second time this year, Xbox Series X|S has outsold the PS5 in Japan. In the week of June 13-19, PS5 sold 3,035 units whilst the Xbox Series X|S sold 3,272 and 3,424 units respectively.

Microsoft has announced that it is working on ways to help game developers improve latency in their games when on Xbox Cloud Gaming; in addition, it has been confirmed that game developers who add keyboard and mouse support to their games for console gamers, will then add support for keyboard and mouse on Xbox Cloud Gaming once Microsoft is ready to release support for it.

Microsoft curbs its facial recognition platforms in the name of privacy and security

After previously calling for a common regulatory framework on facial recognition, Microsoft has now taken steps to curb its facial recognition platforms, including the introduction of a new limited Access policy, removing AI classifiers of sensitive attributes and bolstering its investments in fairness and transparency as part of its updates to its Responsible AI Standard.
